MARSA defines care measures for COVID 19
To protect the care of our teams and our clients’s workers, we have adapted and taken preventive measures in operations and projects in progress, as well as in our engineering office.
Since the beginning of this pandemic, MARSA has proactively implemented all preventive measures in its operations, in order to safeguard the health and well-being of its staff and the personnel of its clients, with whom it interacts for the development of ongoing projects.
We are focused on the strict care of people’s health, and making all the necessary efforts to continue operating in a safe and responsible way in the projects that commit us to our clients.
We have put into practice in our daily work all the measures established in accordance with the guidelines of public health and government agencies. And we are monitoring and following them closely, to align our actions and adapt as they evolve.
The entire team of engineers is operating in teleworking mode, with meetings by videoconferences and without interruption in the work of customer service and projects. It has been a successful shift towards a remote and collaborative work modality, which has included the fluid participation of our clients. We have kept in-person meetings to a minimum, and continue to deliver design and engineering services with the same quality and lead-time commitments to our clients.
Our culture of safety and responsibility has led us to take special measures for field teams and ensure the continuity of services for the uninterrupted development of projects.
For the technical teams that are in the execution of ongoing projects, we have managed the necessary permits for work in essential industries. With these teams we have increased the cleaning and disinfection protocols, promoting frequent hand washing and the use of masks, and promoting social distancing practices on the ground.
In order to control risk factors and symptoms, we require our team members to show symptoms or be in close contact with someone with symptoms, not to go to the field, being able to fill these positions without affecting the progress of the project. Likewise, we adhere to any protocol established by our clients in their facilities. Additionally, and as a way of protecting our workers over 60 years of age, a work at home was privileged so that they did not attend tasks or workshops.
With the measures we have adopted, we are taking care of the safety of our personnel and supporting the country’s effort to control and limit the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
